Joyful 24 Yoga offers Prenatal, Postnatal, Mom & Baby and Christian Yoga.
Prenatal yoga is suitable for all trimesters and focuses on empowering women for the marathon of birth. Prenatal yoga can help strengthen the pelvic floor, ease back pain, improve circulation, help with positioning of baby in the pelvis and provide tools to help calm the body and mind. These classes are the perfect "tool" in your birthing toolkit to feel energized, grounded AND you will join a community of supportive mamas going through the same thing as you. If you need a place to feel great during your pregnancy, we are here for you.
Prenatal Yoga Series are offered every quarter, each class interwaves childbirth education themes to give you the solid tools and skills so you can feel confident and prepared for however your birth unfolds, these classes are taught by professional (Lactation Consultant, Doula, Child Birth Educator, Midwife) and by Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Instructor Cecilia Malsom.
Mom & Baby Yoga classes are suitable for babies 6-weeks to pre-crawling and their mothers. It’s the perfect class to ease back into fitness, taking time to rebuild the core and pelvic floor safely, so you can feel strong in your body and confident in your new role. But most importantly, you'll meet other moms and you’ll connect with baby through movement, sounds and songs.
Christian Yoga classes incorporates breath work, worship music, physical postures to increase strenght, flexibility, balance and relaxation. This classes are taught with a Biblical theme and Scripture meditation.
